Deuce are a musical duo and couple from Melbourne, Australia. They say "Deuce is a project born of an excess of time and curiosity and the natural progression of an explorative partnership". They released two singles 'Antipodes' and 'Language of Love' in the run up to their debut album, Deuce, which is out now. The album moves through a variety of sounds, using indie guitar and bass lines with drum machines, to more mellow sounds present on tracks like album opener 'Heat Wave'. 'Heat Wave' begins with desert-tinged guitars that ring out, with slide guitar that glimmers much like visible heat distortion.
